Umbrella organisation for hobbyhorse-related communities
International Hobbyhorse Federation was launched to the public in 2024 after being slowly established for a year. Its initial purpose is to work as an umbrella organisation for all hobbyhorse-related communities; i.e. national and local associations, and bring them together to support and take part in the growth of hobbyhorsing.
International Hobbyhorse Federation aims to set globally community-approved standards for competitive hobbyhorsing and, eventually, enable and organise official hobbyhorse world championships. The board of the federation consists of hobbyhorse enthusiasts with an extensive background in organising events, running associations, judging, coaching and competing. International Hobbyhorse Federation’s members are hobbyhorse-related organisations, associations and federations who all have a vote in international matters regarding hobbyhorsing as a hobby and as a sport.
