We are back!
The IHHF is looking for enthusiastic and reliable judges to participate in the official international judge training once again. The Official Judge Certificate is granted to those who prove themselves having a good knowledge and understanding in a chosen hobby horse discipline (show jumping, dressage or western) and successfully pass their exams. The training will include one online seminar about the specific discipline, self-study exercises, exam on theory and judging trial, all separate for each discipline. Everything will be online and the participant must be able to use Google Drive and Zoom/Teams. The training is done in English and the training is recommended to people over the age of 15. Previous judging experience and plans to take part in the European Championship are considered as advantages.
It is recommended for one person to take part in one certificate at once but you can choose as many disciplines as you like. There might be overlaps with the schedules for each discipline and the deadlines stay the same for everyone, so make sure you are able to handle two or more certificate processes at once. Exams submitted past the deadlines will be automatically disqualified, no exceptions.
Those who already are official international judges in one or two disciplines are accepted as part of the training when they send us a short application (name, email, which discipline they want to take the exam in).
The IHHF has the right to withdraw the certificate or require retaking the training if the judge acts against the values of the IHHF or in case of severe faults that harm the international competition culture.
The federation is accepting applications until March 31st 23:59 (Time zone UTC+2, Helsinki).
